I was hangin at the Standard Hotel on Tuesday, just enjoying a summer-afternoon mojito on the rooftop waterbeds when they began to arrive...Action Sports athletes and their entourages flooded the pool patio, the lobby, the valet, (which made it almost impossible to get my car)...I was giddy with excitement as it finally registered...The XGames has returned to Los Angeles!!!!
The athletes have been in the Staples Center and over at the Home Depot Center all week training and prepping, but the first official competition goes down tonight...Skateboard Big Air, where I hear they'll be dropping in from the ceiling of Staples...and Moto X best trick...I'm so stoked....
