It is started because we loved it enough to take the risks it needed to grow...

The X Games are now huge. US Open of Surfing enjoyed its last wave just a couple days ago to more than 100,000 people in attendance and it seems like every commercial now has a skateboarder in it. But it wasn't always this way. The first boarders to ride powder crafted their own boards by trial and error, skaters were perceived outlaws and surfers dead beats. It's all changed for the better, but the growing commercial factor on action sports may lead to losing focus on why this got so popular in the first place. Because people loved it. So this is a blog about Keeping What's Real Alive. Events in your neighborhood, skaters killing it at the local skate park, hidden surf spots, how we really feel about the X Games and all those crazy sponsors who care nothing about the love of it. Its a blog about the truth behind action sports or extreme sports. Whatever you want to call it. In end it should be all about the love for it.
